The bottom diagram is not complete, there should be another row with an extension, where the extension goes through 3 fans. I’ll try to explain in words, because I’m unlikely to be able to draw better. For the bottom, the repeat of the pattern in height is repeated 4 times, the first time by 6 fans, the second by 12, the third by 18, the fourth by 24, and then it is knitted without increases, i.e. 24 rapports are just enough to fit the head circumference. Starting to knit each new row, turn the work from left to right.

Start knitting from the crown with a white thread. Cast on a chain of 36 VPs, close it in a ring with a connecting stitch, then knit the first row according to diagram 1, inserting the hook into the bottom thread of the chain (Fig. 1). Continue knitting according to diagram 2 until the desired diameter (10-12 cm). Next, knit 1 row without increases and one row with increases. Repeat until the cap is the desired size (try it on). Continue knitting without adding to a height of 7-8 cm. Tie the edge of the cap next to it in a crab step.

Cap tying

Turn the cap with the bottom edge towards you. The hole on the top of the head (for the ponytail) is sequentially tied with six rose petals. To do this, the hole is divided into three even parts of 12P (36: 3= 12P). First, tie the 3 lower petals along c. Z, inserting the hook into the inner (front) half-loop of the chain. Next, knit the 3 lower petals according to the same pattern, only knit the first row with a sc, inserting the hook into the outer (back) half-loop of the chain.

Cap finishing

Tie the 3rd “caterpillar” cord (Fig. 2) of the desired size and the 3rd embossed leaf according to diagram 4.
